The unit gives a lot of information about the different teaching methodologies.I have learnt about the grammar translation, the suggestopaedia, the task-based learning, the audio-lingualism, the silent way and the ESA. I think the ESA is the best methodology because it incorporates the positive aspects from other methodologies such as allowing learners to have much exposure to the English Language. It allows teachers to give learners input. Anxiety and stress is reduced especially during the engaging stage. Learners are allowed to discover language for themselves.
