This unit gave me insight in the history of language teaching. It taught about the positive and negative aspects of a number of methods. Then it explained in more detail how all the best practices of these methods have been used to create the ESA methodology that ITTT teaches in this course. With many practical examples and ideas, the unit gave me some tools to start using during my lessons immediately.
