As stated in the unit, the method of teaching used depends on the level, culture, and personality of the students and teacher. I think using a mix of different techniques can increase effectiveness as well as engagement. I learned a lot about ways to elicit vocabulary and language from students. I also found the ideas for the engage, study, and activate stages very helpful in understanding the goal of each stage and how to get a lesson to flow nicely.
