This introduction to teaching methods is beneficial for students with little teaching experience. I have gained knowledge and insight on what techniques I would like to use during classes to get the students' attention and even improve on some of them. As a graduate student in the Philippines, I find that ice breakers are beneficial even in serious scientific programs. However, as mentioned in unit 3, there is a time and place for everything and I will keep that in mind.
