This unit was very helpful in understanding the structure and flow of teaching a class. I learned the benefits and drawbacks of different teaching methods and techniques. It was particularly helpful to how the ESA stages were broken down, explaining the goal of each stage and possible ways of implementing these stages successfully. I really enjoyed all the good ideas for engaging games and activities, and also the reminders for keeping my teaching style positive, constructive, and student-oriented.
