This unit covered different teaching theories, as well as various lesson structures. It provided pros and cons of various teaching approaches, and helpful examples of what lesson plans might look like. There was a focus on the different stages of a lesson: Engage, Study, and Activate. I found this unit to be the most useful so far, as my teaching background is limited. In particular The various examples for each stage of a lesson is going to be incredibly useful to me and I imagine I will frequently refer back to this course material in the future.
