A syllabus is a document that contains information about a class. Re/designing a course? If, so probably likely took part in a conversation regarding course syllabus. Designing of the syllabus is the opportunity to make an excellent first impression on the class. Having an organized, comprehensive and easy-to-read syllabus will make a positive first impression. Showing them that the instructor put effort and thought into the organization of the course, by doing, so be careful about the quality and experience of the course. Flipping-the-tables, an incomplete, disorganized, hard-to-read syllabus makes a negative impression on the class students. Showing there wasn't any thought about designing the syllabus about the organization of the course nor what they will learn. The syllabus can set a tone for what students’ interactions with the instructor will be. Policies and instructions written with an impersonal and punitive tone may discourage students.
