Attracting and retaining their attention is immensely important in classroom management and instruction. I love the seating arrangement ideas. Each scenario reminded me of what I experienced when I took Spanish and Lingala. All of these strategies were used and seemed to be effective. Further, I liked the idea of using visual clues to reinforce ideas. The use of mime, realia, gestures, and pictures are fantastic ways to keep student engaged too.
