Firstly, the ESA structure is useful to have as well as knowing what to focus on at each stage (e.g. try not to correct during Engage stage etc.) I found the various examples of what to do in the Engage stage useful. The fact that there are so many ideas will help to make each lesson different. I leant that you should try and get the student or their peers to correct errors and teacher-student corrections should be a last resort.
