Present tenses Unit explains in detail the grammatical structure of the four present tenses: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. In addition, it explains the usage of each tense, gives some ideas of activities that can be done in the classroom in the activate stage of a lesson and which are the most common errors students made. This content has taught me the rules I need to take in mind, not just for teaching but also for speaking. At the beginning of the Unit, they say it's vital to have a sound knowledge of the system, and these activities and reading had taught me that it is not enough. Moreover, been conscious of the common errors is quite important, not just to be prepare to correct them, but also to define strategies that may help the students to avoid them. It was also relevant for me having the ideas for activities, this due to the fact that I am projecting myself as an online teacher, and these suggestions have also detonated more activities I can do from scratch.
