First of all this unit's content gives you an idea that certain lesson conditions should be kept in mind no matter what methodology is used e.g. the neccessity of a certain imput from the teacher or incouraging students to discover the language by themselves. Then the unit introduces and gives detailed disclosure of ESA (Engage-Study-Activate) methodology. It introduced me some new ideas for the engage stage activities such as "sevens", "a box game" and "slow dictionary". Moreover the unit helped me to understand what exactly is more relevant to correct during the lesson and on what stage of the lesson correction is more likely to be done.
