This unit covered verb tenses and their usage. There are 3 tenses in English, each having 4 forms. Therefore, students should cover 12 forms of the verb in order to fully understand English language. As teachers, we must be aware of the fact that other languages might only have 1 or 2 tenses, and understanding 12 forms might become a challenge. This lesson covered the following tenses: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. Examples, common errors and the right ways of using the tenses were exemplified in this unit.
