This introductory unit covered the course's content, the aim and objectives, as well as general terminology for a better understanding of all the courses that a teacher would benefit from. Young learners are considered to be the learners who are not yet adults. The age range is from 5 to 13 years old. When teaching this age group we have to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of teaching young learners. A few advantages might include their level of enthusiasm, curiosity and energy. When looking at the disadvantages, we have to take into consideration the short attention span or the constant need for interactive lessons.
