The aim and objectives are described and I found this helpful because I now know what I will be able to do after completing this course. Different terminology used in the course is listed and explained for further reference during the course. The definition of what a young learner for the purpose of this course is also outlined. This is helpful because I now have an idea of what a young learners age range is considered to be. Employment prospects for TEFL teachers are discussed during this unit and I was interested to read about this and gain knowledge of what employment opportunities are out there after course completion.
