Unit 1 was the introduction to Teaching English To Young Learners. The unit provided the necessary information to properly engage with the course and further provided a syllabus and discussed what to expect and what would be covered. The introductory unit provided helpful definitions, including what a young learner typically is in age, which was given as 5-13 years. In addition, it discussed how to contact a tutor and laid out the expectations for the final summative class.
