During this unit, I learned about three more language learning and behavior theories: constructivist, maturationist, and environmentalist. The best way to arrange a classroom to best encourage a student centered classroom is the semi-circle arrangement. Also, learning the appropriate roles that a teacher takes on in the classroom: instructor, facilitator, mentor, psychologist, counselor, and policeman. Lastly, the section that involves the likes and dislikes of certain age groups will be a great benefit to creating a classroom that students can actively engage in and best learn.
