In this unit, I learned there are EFL banding and CEF levels to describe different levels in students studying English. The level test is taken first to inform the teacher of the knowledge of the students' level, which is then used by teachers to analyze what students need to learn specifically in the class. Teachers can plan a syllabus or choose a preliminary syllabus based on the results from these two tests.
