Unit 3 teaches how to develop a course for young learners, how to administer assessment tests and conduct needs analysis. I learned the purpose of the various tests that can be administered and the proper time frame to initiate them. There was a lot of good information on how to design a syllabus, the different types of syllabi, and the limiting factors to consider. I learned the importance of receiving student evaluations of the course in order to make future improvements.
