Lots of good information in this unite on Course Development. I was given ways to develop a course for young and elementary students, Saw the level of Starter, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate, what their qualities of each level was the Diagnostic and Need Analysis to determine what level of students there are. Was given information on the importance and how to develop a syllabus for the course. Saw how to asses students by doing regular testings such as Diagnostic, Placement, Aptitude, Achievement, Proficiency and Progress. All these give me information do any revision to my course. Lastly, saw the 3 CYLE test for Starter, 7 year olds, Movers, 8-11 year old, Flyers, 9-12 year old and the amount of study hours in English each had. Lastly, was given information on KEY, the "Key English Test for 13 year old's at the elementary level and PET, "Preliminary English Test:, which is designed for lower intermediates students. What I appreciated was the websites to help in testing and resources for syllabus building.
