In this unit, I learned how to manage a class. I learned the fundamentals of creating rapport and how class size and structure impact the learning environment. Also, i learned the 3main types of class activities, classroom, pairs, and independent. I am interested to see how different age groups respond to different methods. I feel as though the younger learners are better suited for large group and pair work, just going off the need for social connections that kids have. As for older kids, pairing might be the best in my mind, because it allows students to help each other and me, as a teacher to move around and asses and assist the pair in a less intimidating manner.
