In this Unit, one of the things I learned about was course books. Course books are helpful to inexperienced teachers, but they do have disadvantages. These disadvantages include the course book is always compromised and can become predictable. However, there are things a teacher can do to combat these problems, such as omit or substitute parts of the course book. Overall it is vital not to completely rely on course books.
