This Unit helped me to review four basic past tenses which include: Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous. Such points were considered: form, usage and common student mistakes. Past simple is used for acrions completed at a definite time in the past. Past Continuous can express an action which began before that time and perhaps continued after it. Past Perfect is used when the actions are completely finished. Past Perfect Continuous is used when we are talking about longer acrions in the past that probably continued after.
