I am just beginning to create a space with my students and myself where I can freely express myself as a professor. Confidence is an awareness of yourself, while in presence of other people; nothing can shift or knock you off the ground you stand on. In calm breaths you are able to highlight the worst and best of yourself with the knowledge of acceptance. Watching a confident human being is motivating and sometimes described as “cocky”. In a world , where it is important to educate the young and highlight our achievement the key would be more confident humans able to complete task in a positive vision of themselves . I have about 2 years of experience, starting out as a trainee before my Tefl and Young learners education. My first couple of classes as a trainee, I became more scared of the students judgement more than the students were afraid of speaking English out loud. The primary note I pointed out was the sense of “feeling stupid” or “looking out of character” this happens more so with our students. The lack of knowledge is a handle to the madness. As a beginner I took the time to study the language, picking up 5th grade English to sharpen my skills. From time to time even as a professional you must continue practicing, it is a mental advance pushing and breaking down walls in your own education. When obtaining knowledge on your environment such as getting to know your students, your classroom space and the native language of your students. You will quickly gain in your confidence. Lesson Plans can help you gain focus on highlighting your confidence as a teacher. This teaching aid allows you to prepare the material before reaching an audience. This also helps you with the specific subject at hand you are able to practice and drill to have the confidence to teach. Before I would outline my lesson after my professor, I became more focused on getting her steps correct then building my confidence as a teacher.
