I have been taught in English for over a year. I remember the first say I taught in the class, I was scared as little kitten try to hide at the corner. But I know that I need to be confident in front of my student. Even I know nothing about teaching at that time. I got the responsibility when the moment I am in the class. No ones teach me how to do that or how to be a teacher. They just put me into the random class just because they don't have enough teacher. But the smile of the student gave me a lot of motivation to keep doing it. I learned a lot from other teachers and learners from the past of a year. We are not just teaching them in English we teach them everything just like the way you talk or the experiences we got from our life. Even the attitude we perform in the class. So I need to be careful the things I said or the action I do to my students. We like the light in the dark to guide the students to the future.No matter how far is it. I won't give up. Because I know I am the hope of them. I always use the five steps to teach my learners, Warm-up、Presentation、Practice、Production and the Wrap-up. This is very useful that I can follow the main point. I like to greet my kids at the beginning of the class, try to let them understand we are going to have a class, they need to pay attention to me. I would like to draw a picture or do some actions to present the things that I'm going to teach. Then play a game for the group and play another one for the pair. I always separate them into 2 teams, set up the goal for them to finish it. That motivation is very important for the class. The only reason to let them learn is the game. So I need to create a lot of games to let them play. I need to change pretty often and quick. The only way to keep going is love and passion form the kids. We always can get the reaction of the learners. Sometimes they don't behave well. I will wake them up from the quiet class. Have a dance together or take a break for drinking. It's very easy to lose their attention. The kids only can focus for a short time. So we need to change the volume of our voice to let them concentrate. Maybe just some exaggerate action or motion to attract them. Set up some rules before the class start. Class management is important too. Make sure they can follow it. If they don't you need to make them understand that is a serious problem. Mention them one time then give a punishment back quickly. For example: erase their point from their team. I only have worn them one time, the second time they need to take the price.
