To my understanding, a good generation is taught by a good teacher who is cognizant of all the needs of their learners as well as their aims. Of all the roles each teacher should be aware of in the classroom such as being flexible, sensitive, prompter, role model, facilitator and so on, a good classroom manager remains one of the most crucial responsibilities in our 21st century of spoiled kids. As a freshman, it was my biggest obstacle to deal with young learners. Hence, Thanks to this course, I have surpassed the phase of an illiterate candidate. Therefore, I will shed light on the main factors for creating a good rapport with the learners. Firstly, in order to be a successful teacher, one is required to be able to manage a naughty group of learners. To do so, one should be flexible and sensitive to be able to deal with every student as an individual who has their own issues and needs. Therefore, lots of care is to be given for them to help figure out their obstacles. In other words, many problematic students have certain reasons which might be family, mental or psychological and for this reason, they need to be given enough care and understanding. Moreover, an ideal teacher should always be the source of assistance and encouragement for their learners and ensure them that venturing to learn while making mistakes is an essential phase to acquire language. A friendly teacher who possesses good communication skills is always able to establish a good rapport with their learners. This enables the students to trust their classroom leader. In addition, friendliness is not the only pragmatic approach to control the students, however a professional teacher will blend it with seriousness and disciplines for the sake of creating a solid relationship based on love, respect and sincerity. This will surely lead the students to trust their classroom leader and therefore abide by their assigned tasks painstakingly. Thirdly, providing students with a convenient learning environment has an essential impact on the teaching learning as well as classroom management process. Every teacher should have a certain degree of awareness of the importance of the desks` position and the teacher`s themselves in the classroom. In other words, a teacher has to position in a place where all students can see them and meanwhile have them feel observed. In addition, the sitting has to suit the activity type as well as its aim. Take for instance a communication activity in which students have to sit in a semi-circle and this will enable them to conduct any speaking or conversation task at ease. In a nutshell, establishing a good rapport with students requires lots of responsibilities and techniques which are but not limited to flexibility, friendliness, sensitivity, discipline and hardworking. Besides, classroom management remains a significant part which determines whether a teacher is able to make an appropriate relation with the students or not. Therefore, success or failure of a teacher is based on the extent to which they can manage a naughty classroom and therefore establish a solid rapport.
