In Unit 5, I learned about building rapport among students and between myself and the students. I also learned about arranging the classroom, minimizing the amount I talk, and maximizing the effect I have as a teacher when I do speak. I learned about the pros and cons of grouping students together in various ways, and I learned about engaging students with eye contact and gestures.
