The development of motivation in the classroom takes a crucial place in the process of education. Consequently, a teacher’s attention should not only be aimed at a student's learning, but also at how a student's personality evolves in the course of educational and cognitive activity. In terms of science, motivation is a combination of causes of psychological nature which explain a person’s behavior. Hence, the formation of motivation constitutes the creation of a system of values, as well as socially acceptable personal priorities. It contributes to a student’s high cognitive activity that can only develop in a psychologically balanced and creative atmosphere, in which the initiative is constantly encouraged. Generally, learning a language has a motivated character and consists of such components such as emotional, motivational and cognitive activity of a student. These constituents are interconnected, for example, a student’s high emotionality motivates their behavior to achieve the goal. Herein, the main task of a teacher is to evoke interest in students and develop their motivation. In order to do this, a teacher may use such techniques as reflection, creative beginning of the lesson (by means of a musical piece or game), alongside with establishing a friendly atmosphere of trust and cooperation. First and foremost, motivational activity in the classroom represents students’ awareness of the purpose of learning and how it is to be implemented. For instance, by the use of differentiated tasks in multilevel groups, or the encouragement of students to independently find mistakes, and subsequently correct them. Cognitive activity reflects the ability of students to identify learning tasks and discover new ways of self-esteem and self-control. Moreover, it is be appropriate to involve students in collective work through the organization of work in groups and competitive forms of the lesson. Another method to enrich students’ motivation is possible through the reflection and stimulation of students by positive evaluation. As a matter of fact, one of the most effective forms of motivation is to strengthen students’ self-confidence. Its proven means is to plan the goals and objectives of students’. Only when they plan an individual goal of learning, they have a belief in themselves, which is the key to successful learning. Furthermore, success enhances motivation. In general, the educational activities of any student are driven by a system of interconnected and complementary motifs. When analyzing the effective motivational mechanisms for improving students' mental activity, the educational games can be singled out. Cognitive interest in the game, and then in the educational activity, stimulates attention and helps to memorize information, so it is advisable for teachers to use problem-solving learning technologies. In terms of ESA Teaching Model, engaging students in the activities is vital for forming good communication on the emotional level. As a result, students become more attentive, behave better, and even perform more successfully. In addition, in order to increase the motivation, the teacher may offer students to take part in competitions or extracurricular activities on a subject, while creating tasks to pay attention not only to students’ abilities, but also to their interests, as well as to conduct computer-assisted lessons and individual work. Therefore, if a student is motivated to study by the activity itself, if they like to speak, read in English etc., then we are talking about a so-called motivated student, the success of whom is expected and predictable. All in all, regardless of the techniques and methods of creating motivation in the classroom, it should be remembered that all work of a teacher is to be aimed at the development of a student’s personality, their self-determination, as well as establishing the foundation for further development and learning in the future.
