Many people have been learning a foreign language for years and cannot begin to speak it. Teachers can solve this problem. I am sure this way for two main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. First of all, in many schools in the world, a foreign language is taught in their native language. Such an approach removes the motivation to engage in a foreign language. These students have quiet good grammar, but no spoken language. They feel shy and worried about their accent or mistakes that they may make. My own experience is a compelling example of this. When I was at school and later at university, I was learning English and teachers used native language to teach. I studied English for more than ten years, but in fact, I started to speak English only after moving to another country. Where no one could speak my native language. In this country, when I was about thirty years old, I began to learn Chinese, and teachers used only Chinese to teach the class. A year later, I could speak Chinese! So fast, Chinese is not easy, and I was not a child. In fact, children learn faster than adults do. If I had not studied Chinese in Chinese, I would not speak this language until now. Secondly, many teachers, to avoid difficulties with listening texts, stop using audio tasks. This seems to be a problem with listening text is common to students of nearly every nationality. However, it is not acceptable to avoid using texts for listening, and the teacher should work with the students to help improve their listening skills. Some teachers still use listening tasks, and in order to help students, they play the listening text at half speed. In addition, some of them find helpful to play the listening extract as many times as needed for all students to understand. These groups of teachers do it well that they do not avoid listening tasks. However, I think the result will be better if teachers will use pre-teaching vocabulary. I think so because in real life native speakers talk fast and may be not of all them will be agree talk to you slowly and repeat many times. Students need to learn how to listen and understand right what they are hear. Receptive and productive skills are very important. In conclusion, I strongly believe that it is very beneficial for students to study foreign language in foreign language. This is because it helps them to perfect their receptive and productive skills, and because it gives them motivation to use new language in their lives. Using this approach, they undoubtedly very soon will be able to speak in a foreign language. In my opinion-teaching students to speak, a language that is not native to them is the main task of a foreign language teacher. One proverb says: "A bad beginning makes a bad ending". If you start a thing badly it takes a long time to finish it, because the bad start seriously affects the later work. Nevertheless, if you make a good start, everything follows naturally and easily. That is why well begun is half done.
