The most interesting thing I learned from this unit was a subtle but important detail about mistakes and errors. A mistake is made and there is awareness about it from the student or their fellows so the mistake has a better chance of being corrected. An error is made unknowingly and may need more help from the teacher correct. It also has an inherent risk of becoming a permanent error in the course of the student learning a language. I found that fascinating.
