In reflection this unit speaks about the balance required in teacher-student relationships. A good teacher needs to be flexible in curriculum meaning they are open to modifying the type of lesson and how they are taught to accommodate their students. Teachers need to look at more than just teaching a subject by also looking at a student's cultural environment, motivation for learning a language, as well as the age of the students to produce the best results.
