This unit dealt with the different parts of speech. Nouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, pronouns, gerunds, and conjunctions. Each of the parts of speech is broken down into smaller, finer categories that allows the learner to understand just how nuanced each part of speech is, and how to use each one. I was pretty well versed with every part of speech except gerunds. I was able to refresh my memory regarding gerunds. I had not dealt with gerunds academically since elementary school.
