In this unite we learn about grammar. we know the structure of the sentence. The different position has different words so we know the parts of speech. First of all is nouns we learn the usage, main, types and plurals of it and the order of them if they appear in a group. Countable and uncountable is also a point. Secondly we learn adjective, we use adjective to describe nouns as people and things. There are three forms of adjective :basic form, comparisons (comparatives)and comparisons(superlatives).Thirdly, we learn articles: definite(the) and indefinite (a, an) and the usage of them. Fourthly we learn verb which is a very important part of a sentence. There are transitive verb and intransitive verb. As a verb there are four forms : base form, past form ,past participle form , present participle. Fifthly we learn adverbs in general these add meaning or information to action. Sixthly we learn Gerunds ,a gerunds is used in the same way as a noun. Seventhly we learn pronouns. there are personal and possessive.at last we learn prepositions/conjunction. There are eight parts of speech we learn in this unit each of them has its own rule while each of them has exceptions Unfortunately there are no rules for these irregular ones and must simply memorized by students of English.
