As a teacher we should be careful and aware about our use of grammar specially dealing with events explaining the time of action. Whether it be event that occurred in the past, an event that occurred in the present or an event that will occur in the future. I learned that most of my errors or mistakes made in the past is the use of irregular verbs. I also used to have problems with the use of past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past continuous. Now it seems that this unit enlightened me and it gives me more knowledge with the use of these tenses and there difference to each other and how to use it correctly and effectively in a classroom environment. Such as Past simple just add "d" or "ed" to the base form of the verb, past continuous adding was or were plus the verb, for past perfect just by using had or had not before the past participle and past perfect continuous just by using had been had not been before the verb. Using these as guidelines will surely make your life easier.
