Rapport is this specific skill and its meaning is to connect with others. It is known that people share different opinions, yet rapport gives them the privilege to exchange their thoughts without feeling judged, or ashamed. On the subject of this, trust is the foundation that students are allowed to talk about how they feel with confidence and ease that the teacher will not use any of this information with people who are not reliable. Further, trust can happen when the teacher share personal information with the student which is beneficial for the student because he wants to see the teacher has the same difficulties and goals as every person in the society and thus can produce an impression of sincerety and admiration. Additionally, teachers should practice active listening. In other words, truly listen to the students, what they are saying, the tone they use, and pay attention to their body language. Active listening includes anything the student do not want to share or it is alluding. Active listening offers the chance to the teacher to "connect" with the student by paying attention to his needs, mentally and physically, as the teacher forgets for a while any other problems and gives all his effort on the dialogue. The teacher when the student talks must not think the answer he will give and most importantly not interrupt. Active listening involves to accept every point of view, make eye contact and prevent stereotyping. However, active listening is not enough. Another important type is respect to the teacher and the classmates so the student can feel appreciated and not absent in class. Moreover, humour is a useful tool to built rapport. Jokes and funny behaviors are really good when they are appropriate. The teacher must be careful enough with the tone of voice and the use of sarcasm on the classroom. All of these are depend on the relationship and the bonding the teacher has with the student. The teacher should know if the student understand the humour otherwise it will cause anger and misunderstandings. Empathy as well is another skill teachers must be able to show compassion on the students' feelings or share experiences with their students that the teachers have never lived. Having empathy means to realize how the other feels, and help people become a good problem solvers. Empathy is a skill that needs compassion and is being taught daily. It means to accept every opinion and search healthy answers in order to deal with challenges. What is more, teachers must be themselves. Teachers have their own beliefs and values, get pleasure of communicating with their students and develop frequently their network. The perfect teacher is the one who is not afraid of making mistakes, he admits when he does not know the answer to an upcoming question and he is proud of sharing his personal interests without losing himself. Without question, rapport provides to teachers the opportunity to transform the students' lives. It requires to connect with students with the aid of patience, empathy and support.
