Constructing a lesson plan makes the teachers manage their time, effort and resources more efficiently so the objectives of their lessons could be achieved. Its importance is paramount to a teacher to make the education process effective. There are various benefits for teachers when they write a lesson plan. Firstly, writing down a lesson plan helps the teachers in planning before the actual teaching process begins. Through lesson planning, the teachers can know what are their goals for their students that will eventually make them think and decide logically about the details they should include in the class to ensure that such goals will be met at the end of the lesson. With this, it is safe to say that lesson planning can actually be considered as a way of saving the teachers’ time.
