From my point of view, parents have very important role in their children’s education and life itself. Right from the very beginning since they are small and babies parents are the main characters in their future development. But sometimes I see different picture. After 8, 5 years being a Youth Manager I can say that the big picture is not black and white color only, but is presented in rainbow colors. Every child is different, so are their families. Living the life these days under pressure of time, parents are working all day long; they don’t have extra energy sometimes to share it with their youngsters. In that case parent’s role as a leader is fading and it’s been given to the toys, entertaining gadgets, TV, cartoons and programs of Fun. Unhappily I can say it’s not something that is promising mutual success at the finish line looking trough out the eyes of the teacher. Children’s education starts from home. Some kind of balance must be find so all parties included (parents, children, society) should be satisfied with final product guided with desire for learning something new. Looking from a side I can see confusion in children’s eyes what is right and what is wrong. They can’t make a difference, they are not been exposed to routines that society can or can’t accept as pattern of good behavior and great education. Bad parents are usually not such a great role models of their children’s education. Children’s are copy cats. They see, they do and they copy. Being a parent it’s not an easy job. To this job you must give 100% dedication, hard work, there is no word I can’t, I am tired, later, next time, tomorrow…etc. Child can’t chose to be born, he or she can’t chose their parents unfortunately they are not in control but there is always the way for some things to be done differently. I am not a parent yet but I am planning to be soon. I can say I am scared will I be able to deliver something that will be as per my standards for good education of my child and her/his better future. Children should be guided and loved at the same time. With love and positive energy we are opening their mind and we are helping them to make better choices for the better tomorrow. All together we can change the world, we can make a difference and we can help our kids to become better humans. One of the main mistakes parents are making regarding their children's education is that they are tying to live their dreams trough out their kids. They are not taking in consideration sometimes children s abilities and talents but they are forcing them to wish things they didn't accomplished when they where young. Big mistake. Why? Crucial question and hard to be answered. Maybe its personal happiness that it is the cause for them to do it, lack of knowledge, fear of doing something else that is completely new or maybe there is no special reason actually to be honest. Summary of this theme is that : parents should be first but not the only leaders in their children's education. Whole society , safe environment and schooling together with teachers involved should be compact team that can deliver what is expected and that is proper education.
