I am the last year student in the university now and I will go back to my home country after my study. Now day the unemployment rate is quite high to overall the world. Therefore, I was so worry about my future job then I decided to make my time useful before getting into the real work filed. But I had no idea what I should need to start with. My brother recommended the TESOL course which very good advantage for my future. Especially, when I want to teach the other people. Be honestly when I started TESOL course just want to get the certification. However, gradually I was so interested about the course. Even I expected the course will not that hard because it will be on the online also the task will not that complicated. However, the course units were so solid and cover broadly about how to teach English and what do I need to prepare. I made the note for pass each unit’s test, if I didn’t put much effort to do this I might failed to do this course. Above-mentioned, the course designed very well and need to put enough effort to get the knowledge. For each grammar parts (past simple, present continuous, future perfect. etc.) was so helpful check my grammar again and make more good fluency use for the grammar. Before I started this course, I thought the teach English is not that hard task, because I can speak and use the English then just teach to people what I know. Also, I didn’t think about the class planning for teach the students because I thought it just depends on the teacher’s mind and plan. But the real teaching area was totally different with my think. I must check the students’ level, need to encourage student in the class to do the activities and choose the activities depends on the teaching stage. The students who have the specific purpose to learning the English such as the Business English (Banking, Hotel). The teacher needs to know which part the students want to improve their skill and make the planning to suit to their purpose. The planning documents also very important part for to be a teacher. If the teacher didn’t prepare much the students will get confusing and anxious. In particular, I was so impressed about the class material. It was huge area to use for the evoke students’ interest about the English. In the meantime, when I learnt English, it was so boarding and so hard to understand. Therefore, I couldn’t focus class long period. Might the teacher didn’t care about the class activities that encourage people to join the class. Lastly, after TEFL/FESOL course I got confidence about the English. Because each course I learnt about the English teaching skill but also, I can check my English level. Base on this I found the area which I need to more improve for myself. I will keep going to study the English and share the knowledge the people who struggle with the English and make them confidence about the English.
