English has so many tenses in comparison with my native language. In Russian we have got only three:Present, Past and Future. Consequently, my students cannot make difference between the Past Simple Tense and the Present Perfect Tense. The most difficult tenses are the Past Perfect and the Past Perfect Continuous Tenses.
