This unit provided an insight about the different types , ways and usage of past tense . It provided knowledge about different kinds of past forms such as past simple , past continuous , past perfect and past perfect continuous . It also explained the various timelines of the action being completed before another action started in the past . This unit also cleared the confusion about the usage of different past forms such as regular and irregular forms and hence was very useful .
