From this unit, I have learned the relationship between the past and present tenses as well as the overall structure of the past tense. As a teacher, it is important to study the tenses in preparation for student involvement. Due to the English language having many rules and regulations for verb conjugation and sentence structure, both teachers and students need to feel ready and supported in practicing and memorization activities. I now feel more ready to work alongside students on such a journey.
