A refresher on past tenses was extremely beneficial. Often when we speak of things that happened in the past, we do not consider the breakdown of what form of past tense it is. Considering the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous in sentence construction is important when teaching non-native speakers about how to speak about things that happened in the past. The sections outlining the usage of the tenses I found to be very helpful and I think will help me when I am working with students and trying to explain the past tense.
