The material covered an ESA lesson, going through suitable activities for the Engage Stage, Study Stage and Activate Stage. The Engage Stage should focus on engaging students in an activity prior to the Study Stage, which can be related to the latter, but not necessarily. Activities such as games ( hangman, anagrams, alphabet game, etc) are used, having the purpose to prepare the student for the study. The Study Stage should cover the main subject of the day, looking at grammar, word order, structures or pronunciation. The last stage should activate the new information acquired. Activities such as questionnaires, debates or role plays should be used at this stage. Errors can be addressed either by asking the other students or by giving the student who made the error time to figure it out by himself. The teacher would clarify only if the first two conditions are not met.
