Personally, this course has helped me learn certain specific rules of the english language that I was never taught in school. Although I speak english correctly, there was never really a way for me to explain the reasoning why my english grammar is correct compared to a foreigners. When asked, I would always reply “It just sounds right.: However, these lessons have given me reasoning behind the language. They have also taught me how to be better prepared for a classroom setting, dealing with classroom activities, dealing with school books, classroom sizes, age ranges, ability ranges, etc. I feel much more prepared to face teaching english as a second language, and as prepared as I can get without actual classroom teaching experience.
