Learning about the importance of the engage part of a lesson has improved my teaching. Before the course my introduction merely consisted of reviewing previous content and linking it to new information. Now that I'm using games and high interest activities in the engage stage of the lesson I feel the students are highly motivated throughout the lesson because I spiked their interest at the start of the lesson. I have also started using fun activities in the study stage which has also improved students learning. Overall my lessons have improved through the guidance in the different units.
