The most important experience I gained from this course is the fact that teaching english, although native to me, is not a simple thing. There are so many different factors that play a part: country teaching in, ability of the students, home life, language barriers, disciplining, etc. At first, I thought this class would be easy, but I learned quickly that this would be a challenge for me to complete, but a challenge well worth the taking. I plan to put into action what I have learned by getting to know my students from day one. If I do my job well, I will be able to tell when the students understand the topic and it is time to move on. If I do my job well, I will be able to help change these students lives and further their knowledge of the subject that I am teaching.
