This course has taught me how to create my own lessons/courses using different types of materials and how to give a natural flow to my lessons. It cleared some grammar doubts I had and it gave me the opportunity to go over the most important grammar points of the english language. It taught me what to take into consideration when planning a lesson/course and how to manage my class. It taught me how to deal with problematic situations and how to bring the students/class closer together. It also taught me how to create rapport with the students- how to be both a friend and a teacher at the same time and how to create the right atmosphere in the class. I plan of using the efl methodology in my everyday work- create my own lessons and courses, use many of the grammar explanations this course offered to explain the same grammar structures to my students, use the questionnaires to get to know my students better and be able to better respond to their needs, set and achieve realistic goals. In a nut shell- I'll use the teachings of this course as a guide book to becoming a great teacher and I'll follow its advices. In a sense I'll further personalize this course to fit my personality and way of teaching instead of just blindly following it.
