In many ways this course has helped me in regards to teaching.
It is a great experience exceeding my expectations. I thought it was going to be the “online” stuff; but actually it has been very pedagogical and systematic. Much of the english having been forgotten has been now refreshed and was made anew. I think this course was well and meaningfully constructed, effectively making someone a teacher ready to walk into class with confidence. The tutor is very enthusiastic and accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and hard working.
My plan after obtaining the qualified certificate is to go to vietnam and venture out the english teaching. Having some substituting experience plus this certificate, I believe, can prepare me for this exciting career change. Teaching, as I now have learned from this course, is not only a trained profession, but also a talent from birth. Not everyone can do this. A single tesol certificate can't make you an english teacher, it's your skill, passion, ambition, love to teach and to be able to teach.
