I have gained a deeper and more rounded understanding of the many varieties of common (and not so common) grammar and its uses. This new understanding will help me clearly explain and teach this grammar to students of all ages.
I also learnt how important it is to make students feel confident and comfortable in class, making lessons interesting and ability relevant thus ensuring maximum learning opportunities.
I have also realized that I am more interested in teaching elementary and pre-intermediate younger students of different languages as I believe it would be more rewarding (eventually) and more interesting during the teaching, will ensure that I am constantly having to come up with new ideas, techniques, lesson plans, games worksheets etc to keep them interested, occupied and learning.
