The most important thing that I have learnt from this course is that a teacher has to be flexible in their class. They cannot strictly follow and defined schedule or course book but instead have to adapt and figure out what's the best course of action for the students. The course also has provided with great information about student teacher and student student bonding and how important it is for the learning process. A well educated person might not be the best person to take on a teaching job as teaching requires a lot more than having the knowledge of the subject. There are far greater dynamics involved in teaching than just dolling out exercises for students to complete. Another thing that I have learnt from the course is that not all students have the same learning prowess and that the teacher should never play favorites and help weaker students to the best of their abilities so as such students are able to cope up with the class. This efl course has taught me the bullet points of being a good and effective teacher and how to apply myself in the class among students. IT has taught me that a teacher is a role model for their students, teacher's are the ones who are looked up at b the students outside their house i.e.e in some manner when the students are in class the teacher is a substitute parent for them.
