I have learned a lot about the different tenses. It also helped me to explain to the students better why we use certain tenses over others (without saying I'll find out). Creating lesson plans have been a weakness of mine, and this course gave me the opportunity to practice it more. I also learned some strategies on how to handle students when their discipline is not very good. I already implement some of the vocabulary strategies in my classes.
